About the Opportunity

A well-established regional development firm is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee two concurrent ground-up multifamily developments in the Greater Houston area. Each project consists of 336 units across 5-story wrap construction.

Project Scope

• Two simultaneous multifamily wrap buildings
• Ground-up construction through completion
• Total project value exceeding $100M combined
• Anticipated duration: 18-24 months per project

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of construction from preconstruction through closeout
• Manage general contractors, subcontractors, and consultants
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and quality standards
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and municipal agencies
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company standards
• Facilitate weekly progress meetings and maintain detailed project documentation
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and budget tracking
• Serve as primary point of contact for all project stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of multifamily construction project management experience
• Proven track record managing 5-story wrap or podium-style construction
• Experience managing projects valued at $40M+
• Strong understanding of construction methods, building codes, and industry standards
• Proficiency in Procore, MS Project, or similar project management software
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects
• Familiarity with Houston-area building codes and permitting processes
• LEED AP or other relevant certifications
• Established relationships with local subcontractors and vendors
