A leading residential development company is seeking an experienced Assistant Superintendent to join their team for an exciting new construction project in the Greater Boston area. This role offers the opportunity to be part of bringing a brand new 330-unit garden style multifamily community to life from the ground up.

Position Overview

The Assistant Superintendent will work closely with the Superintendent and project team to ensure the successful completion of this premium residential development. This is an excellent opportunity for a construction professional looking to advance their career while working on a high-profile project in one of the nation's most desirable markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing daily construction operations and site management
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders
• Monitor project schedules, quality standards, and safety compliance
• Conduct regular site inspections and document progress
• Support the implementation of construction plans and specifications
• Assist in managing project budgets and cost control measures
• Ensure adherence to local building codes and regulations
• Maintain detailed project documentation and reporting
• Support safety training and enforcement of safety protocols
• Collaborate with project management team on scheduling and logistics

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of multifamily construction experience required
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations
• Experience with garden style apartment construction highly preferred
• Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• OSHA 30-hour certification preferred

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive base salary: $100,000 - $130,000
