The Opportunity:

The successful candidate will take a lead role in managing an academic/education construction project in the Greater Boston area, overseeing all phases from preconstruction through to completion. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day management of construction projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, architects, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
• Manage project schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and overall documentation
• Coordinate and collaborate across preconstruction, field operations, and support teams
• Proactively identify and resolve project issues, mitigating risk and maintaining client satisfaction
• Uphold and enforce all safety protocols and compliance requirements on site

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 7+ years of project management experience within the commercial construction industry, working for a General Contractor
• Demonstrated experience managing projects in one or more of the following markets: Academic/Education, Corporate, Commercial, Advanced Technology/Life Sciences, Residential, Hospitality, or Senior Living
• Experience with academic or education sector projects is strongly preferred for this role
• Proven ability to manage projects valued at $20M+
• Strong working knowledge of construction management processes, contracts, and scheduling tools
• Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred

Location: Boston, MA (with project travel across the Greater Boston region)

Candidates must have direct, hands-on experience working for a General Contractor or Construction Manager. This is not open to candidates from a subcontracting or owner-side background.
