The Opportunity:
The successful candidate will take a lead role in managing an academic/education construction project in the Greater Boston area, overseeing all phases from preconstruction through to completion. Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Lead day-to-day management of construction projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards</li>
<li>Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, architects, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle</li>
<li>Manage project schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and overall documentation</li>
<li>Coordinate and collaborate across preconstruction, field operations, and support teams</li>
<li>Proactively identify and resolve project issues, mitigating risk and maintaining client satisfaction</li>
<li>Uphold and enforce all safety protocols and compliance requirements on site</li>
</ul>
Key Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Minimum 7+ years of project management experience within the commercial construction industry, working for a General Contractor</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience managing projects in one or more of the following markets: Academic/Education, Corporate, Commercial, Advanced Technology/Life Sciences, Residential, Hospitality, or Senior Living</li>
<li>Experience with academic or education sector projects is strongly preferred for this role</li>
<li>Proven ability to manage projects valued at $20M+</li>
<li>Strong working knowledge of construction management processes, contracts, and scheduling tools</li>
<li>Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills</li>
<li>Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred</li>

Candidates must have direct, hands-on experience working for a General Contractor or Construction Manager. This is not open to candidates from a subcontracting or owner-side background.
